Planet Gas Limited is an Australian-based, ASX-listed Coal Bed Methane (CBM) and Geothermal energy exploration and development company.

The Company has:

• A 5-project Geothermal portfolio located in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia,
  
  
• A 4-tenement, 23,000+ hectare portfolio of CBM tenements in the United States, and
  
  
• Significant investment positions in Australian uranium and CBM companies, respectively.
  

The Company recently attracted the strategic support and investment of New Hope Corporation Limited (ASX: NHC), which will now have a 19.9% stake in the Company.
Planet Gas also plans to actively expand its interests in both the Geothermal and CBM sectors during 2009/10.
